The defense and the prosecution have rested and the jury is filing into the jury room to decide if a young Spanish-American is guilty or innocent of murdering his father. What begins as an open and shut case soon becomes a mini-drama of each of the jurors' prejudices and preconceptions about the trial, the accused, and each other.
Its a fantasy that will fill box-office coffers, but it makes for a movie thats a little too innocuous for its own good
Despite its impressive visual displays in hour one, the film quickly falters in the second half thanks in part to a bland cast stuck in some very silly subplots.
the situations are just so ludicrous that it really detracts from the quality of the special effects
